What is IV therapy?
IV hydration therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins & minerals directly into your bloodstream for faster, more effective absorption. By bypassing the digestive tract altogether, it is much more effective than oral supplements or attempting to rehydrate with water alone after sickness or dehydration.
Do I need a medical exam before receiving IV therapy?
Yes. And we make it quick & easy! All clients receive a Good Faith Telehealth Medical Evaluation by a licensed medical provider prior to treatment to ensure IV therapy is appropriate for you. You will fill out a medical intake form that asks questions about your health history, any medical conditions, and allergies. Safety first and foremost!
PLEASE NOTE: There is a one-time fee for this evaluation of $30 and it is good for 1 year.
How long does an IV session take?
Most sessions take 45-60 minutes, depending on the drip selected and other add-ons, such as receiving extra fluids. Please keep in mind, if you are receiving an NAD+ drip, this will take a minimum of 2 hours. NAD must be run at a slower rate than other IV drips but can be titrated based on customer tolerance.
Do you come to my home?
Yes! Or your office, hotel, or event location. IVology Hydration Co is a mobile IV service so we come wherever you are! All IVs are administered by a registered nurse (RN) under the oversight of our Medical Director.
Is IV therapy safe?
Yes! IV hydration & vitamin therapy is considered safe for most healthy adults when administered by licensed medical professionals with the proper knowledge and training. At IVology Hydration Co, safety is always our top priority! Vitals are assessed before every treatment; each client completes a medical questionnaire which is then reviewed by a licensed provider, and we use all medical grade supplies and sterile technique.
